HEMA Lexington

HEMA Lexington is a Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) group based in and around Lexington, KY. Our classes teach martial arts from the late middle ages to the early modern era with an emphasis on longsword and supplemental work in other weapon systems such as rapier, and sword & buckler. Must be 18 years or older to join our group.
Hilt and Helm Pittsburgh Fencing Club

We are a HEMA (Historical European Martial Arts) club which studies manuals from fencing masters published between the 1300’s and 1600’s to learn how the swordsmanship was taught and practiced during the periods in which it was most in use. Then equipped with modern HEMA gear and specialized steel weapons designed to allow us to safely practice at full speed and intensity, we proceed to stab each other!
Two Ravens Fencing School

Two Ravens Fencing School is a group of enthusiastic practitioners of sword-learning. We specialize in western European disciplines of the sword and a few other weapons from the Middle Ages up to Modernity. All have proven to be exciting and engaging ways to stretch and strengthen one’s body and mind.
Youngstown Historical Fencing

Our purpose is to reconstruct historical European fencing traditions through a combination of scholarly research and martial training, specifically focusing on the German school of longsword fencing.
